Injection Lipolysis is a body contouring option along with medically managed weight loss and Non-invasive options like Fotona TightSculpting. When administered by the right medical professionals, Injection Lipolysis can help women and men melt off excess fat deposits in many target areas of the body prone to fat accumulation.
Injection Lipolysis uses a mixture of Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholic acid. Phosphatidylcholine is a fatty acid that is extracted from the soya plant, phosphatidylcholine (lecithin). This is a natural product that is actually produced by your own body in areas such as the lungs, cells, and liver. When injected into the desired area, it literally melts away the fat by destroying fat cell membranes and reducing the thickness of fat deposits in a series of a few sessions.
Deoxycholic acid, which is a a bile acid which emulsifies and solubilizes dietary fats in the intestine, and when injected subcutaneously, it disrupts cell membranes in adipocytes and destroys fat cells in that tissue. In April 2015, deoxycholic acid was approved by the FDA for the treatment submental fat to improve aesthetic appearance and reduce facial fullness or convexity. It is the first pharmacological agent available for submental fat reduction, allowing for a safer and less invasive alternative than surgical procedures.
